Was asked to redesign the logo for a local band.  They supplied me with their existing logo and I did up some cleaner versions.  Also created a ‘Wayback Machine’ for them. Supplied them with multiple usages and formats so they can use them on posters, print, merchandise, web or whatever.

Scott-oberfest

A poster for an annual get together.  Starting with the vintage image of  ‘Lady Alcohol’ from an old advert; the German theme comes from the event taking place around Oktoberfest in Waterloo which is near Kitchener (which had many German settlers in the mid 1800’s and was once called Berlin).  The 1939 is because there was no Oktoberfest that year (from 1939 – 1945, for reasons that should be obvious).

Custom track system for art installation

Designed and Created for artist Dave Cooper to display his 18 foot long painting ‘The Underbrush Octych’. Each of the eight canvases blend together to form a continuous panorama. The track system was built such that the painting at the end could be removed and then all the others slid across to make room for it at the beginning. See it in action here. The entire structure had to be transportable so it was made to break down into four foot lengths. This is a shot of me assembling the track at Billy Shire Fine Arts in Los Angeles.
